Issue
Computer mouse is not working.
Environment
- Classroom Technology
- Faculty/Staff Workstation
- Lab Workstation
Resolution
Is the light on the bottom of the mouse on or off?
- If light is on:
- Unplug the mouse for a few seconds then plug it back in.
- If that does not work, plug it into a different port (if USB only).
- Reboot the computer.
- If light is off:
- Ensure that the mouse is plugged in.
- Follow the cord to the back of the computer, make sure it is securely plugged in
- If it is still not working, unplug the mouse for a few seconds then plug it back in.
- If that does not work, plug it into a different port.
- Reboot the computer.
