How does a student get access to the English Placement Test in Canvas?

Answer

 

If a student does not have access to the test, check the following:

  1. Navigate to Query Viewer.
  2. Select the EC_Main Query.
  3. On Line 3, Verify there is an action of MATR, if not connect with the enrollment center.
  4. Also on Line 3, verify the Admit Term.

If the Admit term is 1474 or Greater:

  1. Navigate to Service Indicators in CSProd.
  2. Verify that the Student has an NTT Service Indicator.
  3. Click on the Service Indicator Code.
  4. Verify the Reason is NTT.
    1. If not, connect the student with the enrollment center.
    2. If so and it has been more than 2 hours since the Indicator was added, send a ticket to the Learning Management Systems Team.

If the Admit Term is less then 1474:

  1. Navigate to Service Indicators in CSProd.
  2. Verify that the Student has an NTT Service Indicator.
  3. Click on the Service Indicator Code.
  4. Verify the Reason is either REA or RET.
    1. If not, connect the student with the enrollment center (This is usually handled by Erica Manning or a Full Time Employee of the Enrollment Center).
    2. If so and it has been more than 2 hours since the Indicator was added, send a ticket to the Learning Management Systems Team.
