Issue
How do I access the Software Center to install approved software on my GRCC issued computer?
Environment
Information
The Software Center allows you to install and update software licensed by GRCC. This utility is only accessible while connected to the GRCC network.
Resolution
Navigating to the Software Center
- Expand the Start Menu.
- Open the Microsoft Endpoint Manager folder.
- Select Software Center.
Searching for Software
- Expand the Start Menu.
- Type Software Center.
- Select the application from the search results.
Installing Software
Search for your desired application, click its icon, and select Install.
Warning: Network Connection: You must be connected to the GRCC network (on-campus or via VPN) to use the Software Center.
Installing Software Remotely
If you are off-site, you must first connect to the Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN client located in your System Tray (near the clock).
Click Connect and log in with your standard GRCC credentials. Complete the multi-factor authentication (MFA) request on your mobile device to establish the connection.
