You need to log in to the student ID card printing computers as username: "cardadmin" and assigned password...
When card exchange is in "read only" mode, this does not let you change anything in card exchange. What can happen is a project type that is not often used, like police badges or retiree police badges are not within our normal card printing options in student life and we would need to add that as a project in order to print the appropriate ID badge. When the software is in "read-only" it does not let you select card manager within the configuration tab, which that option does not allow you to add or remove all the different card types we print.
The Technician needs to open file explorer and follow:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\CardExchange\Data
Find the file that says"lock" and delete it. Close out and open back the card exchange program and you now will have the ability to configure ID card projects fully.
