How do I make someone a manager in Google Spaces

Google recently rolled out a feature for Google Spaces that will allow for more control within individual spaces. The Manager role provides tools to promote healthy conversations and control the availability of the space within an organization. Managers will also be able to describe space guidelines that establish rules and expectations for members to create a safer community experience. 

Note: These spaces are not managed by the Information Technology department.

Answer

Google Space creators will be automatically made Space Managers. Space Managers can be appointed by other space managers. 

1. Click on the Space Name at the top
2. Click on View Members 
3. Next to the person you would like to make a manager, select the three dots
4. Select Make Space Manager
