This is how to delete a user profile Windows

 

Environment

  • Windows

Process

Method 1

Log On as Administrative User

Earlier Windows:

  1. Right Click "This PC" or My "Computer"
  2. Click on "Properties"
  3. Click on "Advanced System Settings"
  4. Click on "Settings" button in the "User Profiles" section
  5. Click on user profile you wish to delete
  6. Click "Delete" button
  7. Repeat as desired until all profiles are deleted you wish to be gone.

Later Windows to present

  1. Right Click "This PC" or My "Computer"
  2. Click on "Properties"
  3. Scroll down to bottom of window to see "Advanced System Settings"
  4. Click the link text
  5. Click on "Settings" button in the "User Profiles" section
  6. Click on user profile you wish to delete
  7. Click "Delete" button
  8. Repeat as desired until all profiles are deleted you wish to be gone.

Method 2

  1. Open the Run dialog box. (Win + R)
  2. Enter "systempropertiesadvanced" and click enter. Enter admin credentials.
  3. Under "User Profiles" click Settings
  4. Highlight the profile to remove and select "Delete"

This will remove the user profile from the C: directory and remove the registry entries for the user
