Issue
The web cam is not seen on Respondus Lockdown Browser.
Environment
- Windows 10
- Lenovo T460s and Lenovo T560s
- Respondus Lockdown Browser
Information
User is unable to use the webcam on a loaner laptop in Lockdown Browser. See attached image.
Resolution
- Open up Device Manager
- Locate the Camera. Its either under the Camera category or Imaging Devices category.
- Expand either section its located.
- Right click the device
- Choose Uninstall.
- Right click the top level
- Choose "Scan for Hardware Changes".
- Wait for the Camera to pop back in
- Test Respondus Lockdown Browser to verify functionality.
