When a Chromebook is managed by an organization, powerwash may be disabled. The user needs to enable developer mode to do a powerwash and unmanage a Chromebook.
Note: A user's Chromebook may become managed if they use their @email.grcc.edu account as the first device account.
Note: This process does not always work. Sometimes a managed device needs to be removed from a table that infrastructure team has access to. This is usually not the case but is worth looking into when working through the process

Process
- When at the sign in screen, Hit the keys ESC + REFRESH + POWER buttons at the same time.
- A recovery screen should appear, Hit the keys CTRL + D at the same time.
- A new screen should appear saying OS Verification is off, Hit the keys CTRL + D at the same time.
- Developer mode change will take several minutes.
- Once done, the computer should be powerwashed and unmanaged.
