User wants to download Google Chrome on their Mac device.

Environment

• Mac OS
• Safari
• Google Chrome

Process

GRCC Devices

• Chrome can be installed from the GRCC Self Service Application. View the associated Knowledge Base Article for more detailed instructions.

Personal Devices

1. Open Safari from your Dock
2. Type https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/ 
3. Press Return
4. Select Download Chrome
5. Read the Terms of Service,
6. Select Accept and Install
7. Select Downloads
8. Select googlechrome.dmg from the list
9. Drag Google Chrome to the Applications shortcut
10. Once Chrome has finished copying, drag the mounted installer disk image for Chrome from your Desktop to the Trash to unmount it.
    • You do not need the installer now that Chrome is installed.
