Where can I find resources for PeopleSoft training and support?

You can find PeopleSoft training and support resources through Online Communities, Training Websites, and Internal Training Options found below. 

Online Communities

• Oracle Support

  • A support portal where you can file cases and research information. 

  • A login is required for this service. If you do not have an account please click here to create one. 
  • If you already have an Oracle login, you may access their support portal here.
  • Oracle has a dedicated YouTube channel that contains Oracle provided videos and webcasts for the PeopleSoft system. Oracle produces videos on new functionality as well as overviews of what is coming in a PeopleSoft Update (PUM) as a few examples.
  • Oracle has its own community for user sharing (in addition to the Higher Education Users Group that is mentioned later in this document). If there is functionality that you would like to see in the product, an idea can be submitted where other users can vote the idea up.

Websites That Offer Training

• SpearMC. SpearMC offers live virtual and self-paced training for PeopleSoft Financials, Purchasing, HCM/Payroll and Technical training such as the query tool. Spearmc training is inconsistent in that some courses provide only printed documentation (HCM all access pass) and other courses (PeopleTools, FSCM) do provide some video training. CS training is NOT offered.

• GP Strategies. GP Strategies offers training for PeopleSoft Financials, HCM (Human Capital Management), and CS (Campus Solutions) and technical topics. Please contact for pricing.

Internal PeopleSoft Training

• A general introduction to PeopleSoft, query creation and ImageNow training is offered from the Enterprise Applications team. This is one-on-one training with Bryan Vliem. Please note that this is not job specific training. You may fill out a service request here
