Google Meet Mic and Camera Not Working

While accessing Google Meet within VMWare Horizon Client, the camera and microphone on the host machine will not be recognized.

Issue

During a Google Meet meeting, the camera and microphone were not being recognized.

 

Environment

• Google Meet
• VMware Horizon Client

 

Resolution

Google Meet cannot be used within VMware. The virtual machine does not pick up the physical computers microphone or camera.
