Issue
When pressing the answer/hang-up button on the Plantronics headset attached to the CISCO IP phone, it does not answer or end the call.
Environment
- CISCO IP Phone (not the virtual phone)
- Plantronics Headset
Resolution
The headset dock cable that connects to the phone must be disconnected and reconnected while the power is still attached.
Note: If you disconnect the power and do not plug it back in before plugging in the other cable, the issue will persist. The power cable must be connected before reseating the other connections.
