Body
Issue
An event was deleted from Google Calendar but needs to be restored.
Environment
Information
If an event cannot be located, consider the following details that can affect an event's visibility:
- Time Limit: Events are only saved in a calendar's Trash for 30 days.
- Permissions: If you did not have edit access to the calendar where the event was created, you will not see the event in the Trash.
- Calendar-Specific Trash: There is a separate Trash for each calendar you have. Try looking in the Trash for other calendars listed in your account.
- Shared Access: Anyone with edit access to your calendar can delete events forever or restore them. If others have access to your calendar, ask if they moved or deleted the event.
Resolution
- Navigate to Google Calendar (opens in a new window).
- Click the Settings menu (represented by the gear icon) in the top right.
- Select Trash from the dropdown menu.
- To restore a single event: Hover over the event and click the Restore icon (resembles a return arrow).
- To restore multiple events: Click the checkbox to the left of each event and click the Restore icon (return arrow) located at the top of the list.
