Retracting/Deleting an Event in Google Calendar

Question

How do I retract an event that I sent to someone?

Environment

• Google Calendar

Resolution

1. Click the event in your calendar
2. Click the Delete event icon (trash can icon)
3. If guests were invited Google will prompt you to notify them:
   1. Add optional cancellation message
   2. Select Send or Don't Send, for cancellation email.

Note: Deleted events remain in a calendar's trash for approximately 30 days and can be restored if needed.
