How do I make a new appointment/event/meeting in Google Calendar?

Answer
You can create a Google Calendar event (appointment) in two different ways:
- Click an empty time in your calendar
- Click the Create button
Click an empty time in your calendar
- On your computer, go to Google Calendar.
- Click any time on the calendar that does not already have an event scheduled.
- Enter your event name.
- If you have multiple calendars, choose the calendar where you want to add the event from the Calendar dropdown menu.
- To add guests or other details, click More options.
- Click Save.
Tip: To create a longer event, drag your mouse down the page while you are selecting the time.
Click the Create button
- On your computer, go to Google Calendar.
- In the top left corner, click Create.
- Add a title to the event and any event details.
- If you have multiple calendars, choose the calendar where you want to add the event from the Calendar dropdown menu.
- At the top of the page, click Save.
