How do I install the LockDown Browser Extension on a Chromebook and use it with Blackboard?

Chromebook
Google Chrome

Note:
The Google Chrome Store is not available if signed into the Chromebook using your GRCC Student Email. Please sign into your Chromebook with a personal Gmail account.
Sign into the Chromebook and launch
Google Chrome
.
Download
LockDown Browser
(https://download.respondus.com/lockdown/download.php?id=474712746)
. The link will redirect to the
Chrome Web Store
.
Note:
The
LockDown Browser extension is not searchable in the
Chrome Web Store
. The link above must be used.
Within the
Chrome Web Store
, click
Add to Chrome
to install the extension.
Sign into
Blackboard
and navigate to the course with an exam that requires
LockDown Browser
.
Click
Begin
to start the test. The
LockDown Browser
extension will start automatically in full screen mode.
At the completion of the exam click
OK
to review the results.
Once the test results have been reviewed, click the
in the upper right corner of the
LockDown Browser
menu bar to exit full screen mode.
Click
Continue
to exit the exam completion screen.
