Setting up Lockdown Browser Test for iPad

Issue

A student is utilizing an iPad and when they tried to take a test it stated the instructor has not set it up to allow use on an iPad.

Environment

• Blackboard
• Respondus Lockdown Browser
• iPad

Resolution

1. Navigate to desired course
2. Navigate to Course management
3. Expand Course Tools
4. Select Responds Lockdown Browser (Dashboard)
5. Click the arrow next to the desired Exam name
6. Select Settings
7. Select Advanced Settings under Password Settings
8. Click the option to  Allow students to take this exam with an iPad (using the "Lockdown Browser" app from the Apple App Store)
9. Click Save + Close

Students can locate the Lockdown Browser app from within the Apple App Store.
